President: The office of the President is a 3 year commitment that begins by serving as Vice President, then President and finally Past President. The President serves as the primary Section officer to prioritize activities, develop ideas, and provide direction to the Section.
Vice President: The office of the Vice President is the first in a 3 year commitment to the Board, followed by the President and Past President positions. The Vice President presides at Board Meetings, Section Meetings, and Section functions In the absence of the President. The Vice President oversees the Section's training program for the next year and coordinates the approval of the CEU’s
Past President: This office of the Past President is the last in a three year commitment to the Board, preceded by serving as Vice President and President. In addition to general duties of a board member, the Past President serves as an officer and a member of the Section Committee and presides at Board Meetings, Section Meetings, and Section functions In the absence of the President and Vice President.
Secretary/Treasurer: The Secretary/Treasurer serves in a three year commitment to the Board as Secretary/Treasurer Elect, Secretary/Treasurer, and Past Secretary/Treasurer. The Secretary/Treasurer monitors funds in the section bank account and maintains a Section account check book, takes minutes and Board and Section meetings, and is in charge of communication with Section members.
Past Secretary/Treasurer: The Past Secretary/Treasurer serves as Section Secretary/Treasurer in the event that the Secretary/Treasurer and the Secretary/Treasurer Elect are not present at a Board or Section meeting. The Past Secretary/Treasurer serves with the Past President as nominating Committee Co-Chair.
Area Directors: Area Directors serve as the designated representative for an assigned area with the Section and are responsible for contacting each water and wastewater facility in their area to inform them of Section activities, conferences, and other related activities. Area Directors work with the Vice President to find approved training for CEU’s when Section meetings are hosted in the Area Director's region. They help locate the meeting place and furnish the meeting refreshments.
Public Relations Director: The Public Relations Director maintains the Section website and coordinates other public outreach activities for the Section.
